In December 2008 I completed my ADI (Approved Driving Instructor) Exams. I'm pleased to say that I scored 95.5% in my test on ability to instruct. A bit short of perfect but I think I can live with that! The marking sheet is available for inspection: click here

About Me

When I decided that I wanted to set up a driving school in New Ross I discovered that all I needed was a full driving licence. Believing this was unacceptable I enrolled with the Motor Schools Association of Ireland and studied under Mr. Des Cummins. When the Driving Instructors Register was established I sat the Register's exams consisting of a Theory Test, a Driving Test and a test of my Instructional Ability. I also did the introductory course in Teaching Adults in Waterford Institute of Technology where I received a B grade.

I have completed the Disabled Drivers Association course in tuition for older drivers and drivers with a disability.

I am a member of the British Institute of Advanced Motorists and I have conducted driving assessments on behalf of IAM Fleet.

Our Services

We offer driving lessons to the absolute beginner, to the driver preparing for their driving test and to the driver who wishes to take that further step to advanced driving.

With the mix of cars available we can aslo provide a driving assessment to persons who through age or disability or illness related problems may require to be examined for physical or cognitive abilities.

We can also offer advice on suitable vehicles, adaptations or aids which may be required.
